Tasty Dishes From Our Kitchens To Yours

Just as all Atlas Boutique Hotels have their own unique flair and style each of our boutique hotels offer their own unique delicious dishes in addition to our plentiful breakfast buffets and happy hour treats. We constantly receive requests for some of these dishes and we are happy to share a few with you so you can enjoy them at home as well. 

Green Shakshuka:

Tal Hotel By The Beach Tel Aviv

Ingredients (for 2 portions):
1 Leek
1 Chard leave
15 Turkish spinach leaves
2 Crushed garlic cloves
4 Eggs
50 grams Crumbled feta cheese
Salt/Pepper

Directions:
Cut thin and fry the white parts of the leek and chard in 2 tablespoons of olive oil for about 2 minutes until the color changes.
Add the spinach leaves, the chard leaves, and the garlic, and fry for about 3-4 minutes. Add the eggs and half a minute before serving sprinkle the crumbs of feta cheese.

 

Babaganush:

Arthur Hotel Jerusalem
Ingredients:
2 Baladi Eggplants (or plain, light and dark)
100g Raw Tahini
2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
1 Handful Green Onion (chopped)
1 Bundle of Parsley (finely chopped)
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
Juice made up of 1/2 Lemon Juice, 1/2 Lemon Zest
4 tbsp. Olive Oil

Garnish:
10 Mint Leaves
Handful of Pomegranate Seeds or Roasted Pine Nuts

Directions:
Roast the eggplant on the grill or on the stove. Peel the eggplant and wait a few minutes for the liquids to soak out. Cut the eggplant into cubes with a proper knife and mix in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Garnish the top with the mint leaves and pomegranate seeds (or roasted pine nuts). The dish can be served hot or at room temperature.

 

Cheese Pancakes:

Ingredients:

400 grams White Cheese

400 grams Crumbled Bulgarian cheese 100 grams

100 grams Crumbled hard cheese (Kashkaval, Parmesan, Manchego)

1/2 Glass of oil

Raising flour as needed (250-300 gr)

White sesame and black sesame seeds

Directions:

Mix the cheeses with the oil and add the flour as needed until you get a comfortable dough for work. Refrigerate the dough about 1 hour. Create circles of the size of your desire and decorate with different seeds (white sesame, black sesame seeds) You can brush one egg on them for a beautiful and shiny color. Bake in an oven at 180 degrees Celsius  for about 20 minutes until the patties are a nice golden color.
