Giving Thanks with Latkes

 

For the first time in almost 100 years, and for the last time for roughly another 70,000, American Jews have a truly unique way to begin the holiday season. This year, Thanksgiving coincides with the first day of Hanukkah; lending itself to some of the more creative dishes we’ve encountered.

With a holiday as special as this year’s “Thanksgivukkah”, why not try a new dish to add to your holiday table? Atlas Hotels is always interested in new, creative ways to add some spice to life. Here are some of our favorite recipes to try for this once in a lifetime holiday:

2) Chocolate Cranberry Cake: We love this rich cake for dessert. What makes it even more delectable is the gelt glaze drizzled on top!

4)  Sweet Potatoe-Apple Apple Latkes, with a Cranberry Sauce: This dish embodies the essence of Thanksgivukkah; two holidays blended together in one savory treat.
