“Room Service” at Artplus

“Room Service” at Artplus

Artplus Hotel is one of the many unique boutique hotels in the Atlas Chain. The hotel is entirely dedicated to contemporary Israeli Art and its creation was a collaborative project between Doron Sabag and the Atlas Chain. With the purpose of showcasing original Israeli contemporary art, there are pieces featured from Sabag’s own private collection while the rest of the hotel is filled with site specific works from Israeli artists. Each Hallway in the hotel contains an art piece spanning the entire length of the hall and are all original pieces by 5 different Israeli artists. Over the years the hotel has expanded the amount of art work in the hotel by inviting artists to create unique pieces in guest rooms of the hotel. This project entitled “Room Service” is an ongoing project where different rooms feature artistic creations from local artists. Currently there are 14 rooms in the project. We encourage you to book directly with Atlas if you are interested in staying in one particular room.  Speak...

The city becomes the arena of a hidden, endless battle between the ‘old’ and the ‘new’. The architectural jumble resulting from this merger of history and constant renewal, destruction and construction, serves as the inspiration for the artwork.    Nir Adoni (b. 1980), graduated with honors from the Department of Art and Education at HaMidrasha – Beit Berl College of Art in 2009. Since his graduation, Adoni received grants and awards from the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Foundation for the Arts, Mifal HaPais and the Arts Department of Tel Aviv...
