Room 210, “Humming”

Room 210, “Humming”

Part of the “Room Service” project at Artplus Hotel Tel Aviv Room 2010 contains an art piece by Nir Adoni.  The crane hanging on the wall represents the changes that take place in the ‘City that never Sleeps’, where historical buildings are buried under publicity posters, and skyscrapers rise along the coastline at dizzying speed; construction additions and rusty air conditioners latch on to buildings which are not protected by preservation laws. The city becomes the arena of a hidden, endless battle between the ‘old’ and the ‘new’. The architectural jumble resulting from this merger of history and constant renewal, destruction and construction, serves as the inspiration for the artwork.    Nir Adoni (b. 1980), graduated with honors from the Department of Art and Education at HaMidrasha – Beit Berl College of Art in 2009. Since his graduation, Adoni received grants and awards from the Yehoshua Rabinowitz Foundation for the Arts, Mifal HaPais and the Arts Department of Tel Aviv...

Hummus–Beyond the Chickpea

Hummus–Beyond the Chickpea

It’s one of the most long-standing arguments among Israelis: What is the best hummus place around? Ask five random people on the street, and you may receive seven different answers. Everyone has their favorite place, and some might have three favorites! The complexity of the hummus fandom is one that tourists may not completely understand. Hummus in Israel isn’t merely a side dish; it’s the perfect snack, it’s the entire meal at times, and it’s a way of life. You can find this staple on any table ranging from a Shabbat dinner, to a wine tasting, to a BBQ—yes, even at a BBQ. If you haven’t had the opportunity to try the plethora of hummus eatery options here in Israel, we suggest scouting out some of our favorites. Israel from Above

Israel from Above

A trademark feature of many of our Atlas Boutique Hotels is our amazing rooftops.  Every roof is different and just like each hotel, each roof has its own unique style and ambiance.  We encourage all of our guest to enjoy happy hour on the roof. Whether it’s on our Melody, Shalom Hotel & Relax, Artplus, Cinema or Center Chic Hotel roofs, grab a dink and a snack, while you relax and enjoy the views and wonderful sunsets over the sea and the city.  The breeze from the roof is amazing during the warm summer evenings. We think it is one of the best ways to enjoy Israel, and we hope you will too.   Although not on the roof we have a beautiful sun room overlooking the picturesque garden on the grounds of our new Bay Club Boutique Hotel. Enjoy the view while eating breakfast or enjoying our large buffet of treats and drinks during happy...
